CBSE Class 10 Board Results 2017: Tips on How to Select the Right Stream

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce its Class 10 results for 2017 on its website cbse.nic.in shortly, and once the results are out, students will be at the crossroads of the first major decision in their career paths.
Since childhood, all of us think about what we want to be when we grow up – a doctor, an engineer, a lawyer or a scientist – being the most common choices. The stream that a candidate chooses after the Class 10 results will go a long way in deciding that future.

Students must keep in mind there is no best stream, but only a best choice for them. For this one must look at the big picture and consider your future goals and past performance. Here are a few tips to select the right choice for you:
1. Self-analysis: A student must have awareness of his own interests and strengths. Are you better with numbers or do your interests lie in study of languages? One must also keep in mind which stream choice is likely to bring you success as a professional.
